Kaycee Childress, Executive Director, Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation
As former Executive Director of Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, Kaycee is deeply connected and dedicated to focus on children and young people from birth through college. She also heads the Dulles Chamber of Commerce CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Committee. Previously serving as Executive Director of Children’s Medical Nutrition Alliance and Children’s Magic US, Kaycee brings a huge understanding and insights of demographics and their values. She is a magnet for conversation ideas to have helps build a bridge for demographics, generations and different outlooks on life.
Reggie Smith III, PhD, Executive Director of US Distance Learning Association (USDLA)
As CEO/Executive Director of the US Distance Learning Association, Reggie is right in the middle of how long distance and remote learning affects people and how it can be leveraged into learning of the future. online learning, a once add-on that since COVID has become mainstream is a key component in re-thinking our collective approach to education. He also serves as Manager of CHildren’s Conference and Telemedicine Operations with Children’s National Health System and has a background in television production, publication and satellite broadcast. With tech as a big part of his background, Reggie supports cross-pollination of ideas big time.
In memoriam — Bob Spoer, Changemaker Talent Leader, Ashoka, and a dear friend
It is with great sadness that our cherished Advisory Board member, mover and connector in chief left this world to go home. Our heartfelt Thank You with deep love and gratitude! Bob was one of a kind: A spiritual entrepreneur who spearheaded the talent and partner program space for Ashoka, the world’s first and leading social entrepreneurship organization. Bob led Ashoka’s global teams and partner programs as Chief Entrepreneur People/Search where transformed entrepreneurship and tech "scale up" for the greater good of earth and humanity.
He founded Collaboration for Talent to reverse the growing network inequality gap by helping people connect with others over common causes and advance diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and Linkedin’s Recruiters for Good (RfG) which conducts pro bono recruiting assignments for nonprofits globally, including the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows, Engineers without Borders, and Ashoka. Bob was instrumental in connecting us to people and ideas and change makers . We miss him, but know he’s watching over our work and progress from another realm.
